John Conley Jarman, 52, of Tifton died Sunday, August 10, 2008, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A Mass of Resurrection with honor guard will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at Saint Anne's Episcopal Church with a visitation and Rosary to be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Thursday, August 14, 2008 and a Mass of Christian Bureial to be offered on Friday, August 15, 2008, in Ada Township, Michigan.
Mr. Jarman was born May 9, 1956 in Grandville, Michigan and raised by his parents, the late Bob Jarman and Betty Jarman of Cascade Township, Michigan. John served honorably for 22 years with the United States Navy. He was a member of Saint Anne's Episcopal Church.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Jarman is survived by his loving wife, Rose Peskin Jarman, of Tifton; two sons, John Jarman, Jr. and Matthew Jarman, both of Tifton; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Delores and Michael Peskin of Hesperia, Michigan; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Lisa Jarman of Nashville, Tennessee; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Amy and Don O'Keefe of Rockford, Michigan, and Lynne and Robert Johnson of Cascade Township, Michigan; and many in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
