Maria de Lourdes (Oliveira) Ferreira, age 75 of Fall River for 37 years. Passed away at home August 7, 2008. Wife of Silvino Ferreira. Born in Santo Antonio, Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Antonio Augusto & Maria (Viveiros) Oliveira. She retired in 1997, after working as a Seamstress at Woodland Mfg. for 27 years. She was a member of Espirito Santo Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 5 Children: Antone & Fernando Ferreira of Fall River, Joseph Ferreira of Westport, and Richard Ferreira of No. Dartmouth, and Mary Lou El-Husayni of Walpole. 4 Siblings: Antonio Oliveira of Fall River; Duarte & Jaime Oliveira of Sao Miguel, and Gilberto Oliveira of Canada. 8 Grandchildren & several nieces & nephews. She was also sister of the late Joao & Jose Oliveira.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Monday at 8 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in Espirito Santo Church at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 5-8 P.M.
