Gerald L. Froelich, 67, Clarksville, died Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The remains are to be cremated. No services are planned. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born in Defiance, Ohio November 12, 1940, son of the late Edward Froelich and Agnes Berryman Froelich. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, American Legion, DAV, and VFW. He was employed with the Tennessee State Department of Labor for 21 years. He was a retired Major in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Patricia Froelich of Clarksville, Tn; one son, Jerry Froelich, two daughters, Stacie Rawls and Teri Evans all of Clarksville, TN; three brothers, Gene, Eddie and Leon Froelich all of Defiance, Ohio; three sisters, Charlene Donley, Diana Gallant both of Defiance, Ohio; and Bonnie Hassellswerth, Freemont, Indiana; four grandchildren, Kory Froelich, Ariel Stephens, Marena Evans, and Payton Rawls.
