Obituary

Jean L. (Crowell) Taylor Poliseno, 74 years, of West Bridgewater, died August 5, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Roland Poliseno. Born in Boston, daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Smart) Crowell, she was raised and educated in East Boston. Jean had been a resident of Brockton for many years and had been employed by the City of Brockton for 20 years, retiring from the Brockton High School’s Data Processing Department. She had been a resident of West Bridgewater for the past 17 years. Jean enjoyed horseback riding, bowling, boating and time spent with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

She was the mother of Norman Taylor of Lakeville and William Bovaird and his wife Cindy of Abington; grandmother of Derek and Brittany Taylor and sister of Beverly Cerny of Idaho, Thelma Gordon of New Hampshire, Arlene Kramer of Saugus, Lois Lewin of Arizona, Lillian Levy of Indiana, Elaine Ausiello of Florida, Sandy Elston of Arizona and the late Raymond Crowell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Dukie.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 10am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church W. Bridgewater at 11am. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8pm. Donations in Jean’s name may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, 502 Bedford Street, Fall River, MA 02720.
