Lon E. Fields Sr. 73 of Jeffersontown passed away August 2,2008 at his home.
He was a native of Whitesburg, Ky and past President of the Teamsters Local 89.,he was also a Air Force veteran of Korea and member of Shawnee Masonic Lodge # 830 , Scottish Rites, Kosair Shrine.
Preceeded in death by his brother Rex Fields and grandson Seth Fields.
Survived by his wife Margie , 2 daughters Charlotte Gipson (Robert) and Camella Carman (Michael).
5 Sons Lon Jr. (Mary) , Bill (Lisa), Lee, Scott (Kim), Lance Fields.
1 Sister Minnie Hall, 1 brother John Fields(Betty).
17 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services Tuesday 11 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Road with entombment at Resthaven Cemetery
Visitation Monday 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
