Obituary

Charles P. Estram, 88, of Lexington Street in Woburn, Massachusetts, died peacefully Sunday at Rhode Island Hospital with family and friends at his side. He was the husband of the late Audrey ( Sullivan ) Estram.
Born in Chicago, IL, he was a son of the late Kajtonis & Konstance ( Gerve ) Stromski. He seved proudly in the US Army Signal Corps in WWII with his late brother, George V. Estram. He was a photography student in the Bauhaus Institute of Design in Chicago and had a lifelong career in the personnel industry until his retirement a few years ago. He was an avid racquetball player.
“Charlie” is survived by his daughters, Elyn Fox ( Richard ) of Smithfield, RI, Jeanne Bashore ( Ronnie ) of Billerica, MA and his adoring granddaughters, Rachel Fox and Crystal Bashore.
Burial with Military Honors will be held at National Veterans Cemetery, Bourne, MA on Thursday, August 7 at 11:15 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie’s name may be made to the VA Hospital, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730. His family would like to express their gratitude for the care and compassion shown him by the staff of the Golden Living Center of Attleboro, MA and the RI Hospital Instensive Cardiac Care unit in his final days with us.

DIRECTIONS TO CEMETERY FROM NEAREST AIRPORT:

Cemetery is equal distance from Logan Airport, Boston, Mass., and T. F. Green Airport, Providence R.I. From Logan Airport, take the Ted WIlliams Tunnel to Interstate 93 south. Follow Interstate 93 south to Interstate 24 south. Follow Interstate 24 south and exit on Interstate 495 south, which continues, into Route 25 east. Go over the Bourne Bridge – at base of bridge there is a rotary – go ½ way around rotary onto Route 28 south toward Falmouth. Continue on Route 28 south approximately four miles to a second rotary. Go ¾ way around the rotary you will see the sign leading to Massachusetts Military Reservation. Exit the rotary at this point. Entrance to cemetery is approximately ½ mile from the rotary. From T. F. Green airport take Interstate 95 North to Providence and then exit on Interstate 195 east. Follow Interstate 195 east and exit on 25 east (follow signs to Cape Cod). Go over the Bourne Bridge then follow directions above
