Santa M. (Cucinotta) Aniello, of Medford, died Sunday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was 73.
Mrs. Aniello was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Cecelia (Savoia) Cucinotta.
She spent her early years in the West End of Boston and graduated Medford High School in 1947. She lived most of her life in Medford and served as a lunchmother at the Kennedy Elementary School.
For Many years she and her husband Joseph operated two stores at Swift’s Beach in Wareham, “The Beach Mart” and “Italian Deli”.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Aniello. She was the mother of Susan Luongo and her husband Anthony, of Quincy; and Pamela Di Giovanni and her husband Robert Ferrara of Medford. She was the loving grandmother of Lindsay and Angela.
Friends and relatives may visit Tuesday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.Her funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, Wednesday at 11:00 AM.Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
