Obituary

WORCESTER-Ruby F. (Hinch) Trulson, 90, of Worcester, died peacefully on Friday, August 1st at Holden Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton H. Trulson and her son, John G. Trulson. She leaves her daughter, Judith Renkawitz and her husband Paul of Chatham, MA; a son, David L. Trulson and his wife, Linda of Paxton; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen Trulson of Mettawa, IL; four granddaughters, Laura, Katherine, Eleanor and Emily; four grandsons, Andrew, Mark, Christian and Eric. Ruby cherished her family and rejoiced in their successes and well being.

She was born in Lancaster, Wisconsin the daughter of Clarence and Laura (Garner) Hinch. Ruby was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, where she met, and married Anton. They resided on Kenwood Avenue in Worcester, where they raised their three children, and lived their entire married life. Ruby spent 25 years as a social worker for the City of Worcester, retiring as supervisor in 1982. Her most cherished pastimes were rug hooking, gardening and furniture refinishing at the Worcester Center for Crafts. She was a member of the United Congregational Church for 65 years.
Ruby will be most remembered for her warm and caring ways, which brought many dear friends into her life. The family is most appreciative of the compassionate care provided by Holden Nursing Home during her final years.

A private burial will be held at the Old Swedish Cemetery at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
