Jackson, Martin L. 96 of Louisville
passed away Saturday July 26, 2008, at the Episcopal Church Home. He was born in Little Rock, Ark..
He was a Retired Funeral Director, former part owner of Schoppenhorst Funeral Home and a former part owner of Highlands Funeral Home. He was a member of St. Luke's Chapel at the
Episcopal Church Home, Lewis Parkland Masonic Lodge # 638, the Scottish Rite, Past President of The Portland Business Assoc. and a member of the Kentucky Funeral Directors Association and Fall City Funeral Directors Assoc.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Esther. He is survived by his Son Richard M. Jackson (Pat) and his Daughter Edwina Hyland.
His Grandchildren Lauren Jackson Bruge (Nick), Rick Jackson (Lisa), Paul Hyland (Donna), Phil Hyland (Kim), Mark Hyland (Sarah), Chris Hyland (Lisa), Steve Hyland (Jill), David Hyland (Shannon), Scott Hyland (Karen). He is also survived by several Great Grandchildren.
His Funeral will be 10 am Saturday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 2-8 pm at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown.
