Robyn M. Nelson of Dedham and a member of the 8th grade class of Dedham Middle School passed away on July 30, 2008 at her home. She was 12. She was the beloved daughter of Kevin M. and Tracey (Mills) Nelson.
Born in Boston, Robyn grew up in Dedham and was a student at the Dedham Middle School. She was a member of the Dedham Middle School Field Hockey Team and the Choir at St. Mary’s Church.
In addition to her parents, she was the sister of Lee Nelson of Dedham and the granddaughter of Robert Mills of Foxboro and Nuala (Devine) Mills of Mendon and John and JoAnn (Melchiorri) Nelson of Plainville. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and devoted friends.
Her funeral will be held from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Monday at 10 AM with a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
