Jay C. Kruger, 26, of Fairhaven died March 21, 2003 unexpectedly.
Jay was the son of Louis H. and M. Angela (Callaghan) Kruger of Fairhaven.
Born in New Bedford, Jay lived in Fairhaven all of his life and was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Fairhaven.
Jay enjoyed working with electronics and installed alarm systems and satellite dish systems. He also was employed as a commercial lobster fisherman.
He was a 1995 graduate of Fairhaven High school where he was an All-Star football player and member of the 1994 Superbowl Champion Team.
Jay enjoyed the outdoors and was happiest when with his niece and nephew.
Survivors include his parents; 2 brothers, Keith L. Kruger, and his wife Rebecca, of Acushnet and Marc J. Kruger of Fairhaven; a niece, Camryn Kruger of Acushnet; a nephew and also his godson, Keith Kruger, Jr. of Acushnet; his maternal grandmother, Sheila M. (McKoan) Callaghan of Fairhaven; his paternal grandmother, Claire M. (Gwozdz) Kruger of Fairhaven; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Fairhaven, Wednesday at 10 AM.
Visiting hours are omitted.
Interment private.
