Susan A. Sweeney, 36, passed away on July 27th, 2008. She was born in Salem on November 5th, 1971 to her parents James N. and Therese A. (Sobocinski) Sweeney. Susan has been a life long resident of Medford. She is a graduate of Medford High School and attended Bunker Hill Community College in Boston. For the past 15 years, Susan worked as an executive secretary at Bank of New York Mellon in Newton. She is survived by her mother, Therese A. Sweeney of Medford; and by her sisters, Deborah Wilson and her husband Ric of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Patricia Northrup and her husband Bruce of North Kingstown, Rhode Island. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Susan was predeceased by her father, James N. Sweeney. Relatives & friends are invited to attend funeral services from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Friday August 1st at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at The Church of St. Raphael in Medford at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday July 31st from 4-8 PM.
