Methuen, MA- Anne M (Lavery) Melnicki Bowler died Sunday, July 27th at Caritas Holy Family Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lawrence to Richard and Anna (Yakawonis) Lavery, Anne was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School.
A longtime Methuen resident, Anne was the wife of John F. Bowler and the Late Walter Melnicki. For many years she was employed by Tyer Rubber where she was an assembler, however more recently, Anne spent time at home with her family as a homemaker. She loved to play Bingo and spend time with her grandchildren who were her life. She will be greatly missed.
Anne leaves behind, her husband of 43 years, John F. Bowler, three daughters, Anne Gross and her husband Stephen of Andover, Maryjo Doiron and her husband Daniel of Methuen, and Kathy Bowler also of Methuen, one son, Sean Bowler and his wife Erin of Haverhill, as well as 10 grandchildren, Steven Castiglone, Massachusetts state Trooper Daniel R. Doiron Jr., Glenn Dibenedetto, Erin Currier, Andrea Korzon, Michael Bowler, and Aidan, Owen, Flynn and Colin Bowler, 4 great grandchildren, Michael, Kaleigh and Emma Currier and Wesley Korzon. She also leaves behind her sisters Marilyn Earley and Donna Bouthillier as well as several nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her two sisters, Claire Leonardi and Dolores Hartnett, and her brother Richard Lavery.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 4-8 PM at Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St. Methuen, MA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2008 at 9a.m at St. Monica’s Church. Entombment will follow at the St. Mary - Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
