Lena (Corzo) Todisco, a long-time Medford resident, died Tuesday, July 22, at Epoch Senior Healthcare of Melrose. She was 94.
Lena was born in East Boston, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Flora Corzo.
As a young lady she settled in Medford where she lived the rest of her life. A devout Catholic, Lena was dedicated to her family and proud that she was the youngest of 12 children. She was a member of Medford’s senior citizens club, the Elks Club of Revere and Medford’s VFW.
She was the beloved and devoted wife of Generoso “Joe” Todisco. She was a loving mother to Cynthia “Cindy” Todisco. She is predeceased by 11 loving brothers and sisters. She was a dear aunt to Edward DiGiacomo, Mr. and Mrs. William Baker, the late Richard DiGiacomo and Mary Corzo. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Funeral Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, Medford. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
