Angelina S. Pereira, age 86, of Woburn died Thursday, July 24th, at the Youville Hospital in Cambridge following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Pereira. Born in Madeira, Portugal she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Augusta Sousa.
Angelina came to the United States almost forty years ago and has been a Woburn resident ever since. She worked for many years as a seamstress with the Colony Corporation of Woburn. Mostly devoted to her family she loved working in her flower garden and also enjoyed crocheting. Angelina was also a member of the Portuguese-American Club of Woburn. Angelina is survived by her children, Allen S. Pereira of Woburn and Maria Olivia Pereira and her husband Fred of Woburn. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lisa, and Paul Pereira and great grandson, Christopher Pereira.
Her funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Monday, at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St. Woburn, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8 at the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
