Graveside funeral services for Rubye W. Odom, 85, of Sycamore, GA. will be held Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Bethel Baptist Church cemetery in Turner Co., GA. Mrs. Odom passed away Wednesday at Tift Regional Hospital.
The daughter of the late William Earl and Gladys Daniels Wilson, she was born in Turner Co. where she lived her entire life. Ms. Rubye was a farmer and homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist Faith and was the widow of William Ottis Odom. Ms. Rubye loved working in her yard and lovingly tending her flowers and shrubs.
Survivors include her sister, Mildred Kilcrease of Ashburn, GA. and her brother, James Wilson of Montgomery, AL.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at Perry Funeral Chapel.
