Ethel May Fisher, 97, of Derry, NH, died on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Haven Health Care Center in Derry. Mrs. Fisher was born in Newfoundland, Canada on November 30, 1910, a daughter of the late Robert and Martha Burden. Mrs. Fisher was a former member of Mt. Bellingham United Methodist Church in Chelsea, MA and a current member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Derry.
She is survived by her daughter, Annie A. Copeland of Londonderry, NH, three grandchildren, William E. Copeland, Jr., of Londonderry, Elaine M. Cygan and her husband Michael of Ware, MA and Scott D. Copeland and his wife Marie of Manchester, NH. Also surviving are three great grandchildren, Michael, Mathew and Alisha as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 9:00 –10:30 am at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 63 E. Broadway Street, Derry. A funeral service followed at 10:30am in the Church. The burial was at 1:00pm Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, MA.
