Thomas J. Ouellette, 75, of New Bedford died March 18, 2003 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
He was the husband of Edith (Frazier) Ouellette; they had been married for 49 years.
A lifelong resident of New Bedford, Mr. Ouellette was formerly employed as a field maintenance and crash crewman at the New Bedford Municipal Airport until his retirement.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps as a surgical technician with the 34th General Hospital in Korea. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1, the Retired State, County, and Municipal Employees Association, and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include his wife; a brother, Wallace Ouellette of Harwich; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Doris Ouellette.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Saturday March 29, 2003 at 10 AM.
Visiting hours are omitted.
Private burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
