Hazel Inez Porter, 84, of Hanahan, widow of Clarence Porter, died Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Hospice Center of Charleston.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 11 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 until 8 o’clock this evening.

Mrs. Porter was born October 13, 1923 in Kinston, North Carolina, daughter of the late Leland and Barbara Banks.

1 sister: Edna Vise of Durham, NC
6 granddaughters: Sandra Nelson of Bristol, TN, Angie Polk of Summerville, Kyle Tumbleston of Manning, Prudy Hill of Ladson, Danette Ellington of Ladson and Theresa Jarratt of Dinwiddie, VA.
