Worcester-Aloysious V Jacevicius 64 of 19 Barclay Street died March 16th in his home following an illness.
He is survived by his wife of thirty eight years, Linda J (Redfield) Jacevicius, two sons David W Jacevicius and Allan J Jacevicius both of Worcester, and a brother Joseph Jacevicius of Los Angeles California.He was born in Lithuania a son of Juozas and Marijona (Lazaskaite) Jacevicius and came to this country in 1949.
Mr. Jacevicius was a graduate of the former High School of Commerce.
He was the owner operator of A.V. Jacevicius Roofing and Siding Company of Worcester for thirty five years, and was still working at the time of his death.
A longtime member of Saint Casimir's Catholic Parish, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
The funeral will be held Thursday March 20th from The Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home (www.worcesterfuneral.com) 33 Ward Street with a Mass at 10am in Saint Casimir Church 41 Providence Street.Following cremation at All Faiths Crematory, burial of the ashes will be private and at the convenience of the family.Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday March 19th from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 9pm.The family requests that flowers be omitted and that donations be made instead to UMass-Memorial Hospice 650 Lincoln Street Worcester mass. 01605.
