Mary E. Kuntz, 83, of Sanford, ME, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 in the Newton Center for Rehabilitation in Sanford. Mrs. Kuntz was born in New Brunswick, Canada on April 11, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Demerchant) Kinney. She had been employed as a mechanical engineer for Raytheon Corporation. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Saco, Maine.
She is survived by two sons, Richard C. Kuntz of Baldwin, ME, and Gerald L. Kuntz of Paxton, MA; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two stepsons, Louis J. Kuntz of Trussville, AL, and Brian Kuntz of Centerville, OH; two sisters, Gladys Banks of Ontario, Canada, and Maxine Giberson of N.B., Canada; two brothers, Milford Kinney of Ontario, Canada, and Clifton Kinney of Ontario, Canada; as well as sixteen nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis J. Kuntz.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th at 11:00am in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
