Obituary

Lanie Antenori, of Dickson City, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, in the VNA Hospice Unit at Community Medical Center. His wife, Pearl Romanczyk Antenori, died in 1986.

Born in Peckville, son of the late Attilio and Angeline Masci Antenori, he was employed as a mechanic and machine operator at Billig Shoe Co., Peckville, before retiring. An Army veteran, he was a member of the Company B, 502nd Parachute Infantry, 101st Division, and was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a member of the Shopa-Davey VFW Post 6082, Peckville.

Surviving are a daughter, Judith and husband, David Bushko, Clarks Summit; a grandson, Geoffrey and wife, Ashley Bushko, Philadelphia; and a great-granddaughter, Haley Lynne Bushko.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Olga Cesari; and two brothers, Ralph and Leo Antenori.

Mass will be Friday with Mass at 11 a.m. in the Church of St Gregory, North Abington Road, Clarks Green, to be celebrated by Monsignor John Louis. Interment, St. Mary's Visitation Cemetery, Dickson City.

Friends may call Friday, 10 until Mass time, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of St. Gregory, 330 N.
