Obituary

Neil F. Foley, of Medford, died Tuesday at his daughter’s Arlington home surrounded by his loving family. He was 80.

Mr. Foley was raised in Charlestown, the son of the late Edward and the late Helen (Gibbons) Foley. Neil graduated from Mt. Saint Charles Academy in Rhode Island and served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. For many years he worked with the Barnstead Company and Culligan Company as a sales representative of water purification systems. In his retirement he was an educator with the DUIL Program. He was most especially a devoted husband, father, grandfather and good friend to many.

He was a beloved husband to the late Mary (Kingston). He was a devoted father to Maureen Foley of Medford, Lorraine Rigby and her husband Scott of Melrose, Sheila Rosselli of Arlington and her late husband Richard. He was a loving grandfather to Cathryn and Meghan. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
