Mildred E. Nahigian, 85, of Austin Avenue, died Monday, July 14, 2008 at Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the wife of the late Haig A. Nahigian, Sr.
Born in Salisbury, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Amy (Dow) Poor. She lived in Greenville since 1966.
Mrs. Nahigian was a Marine veteran of WWII . She was an office manager for the Palmer Spring Company in Providence.
She is survived by her son, Haig A. Nahigian, Jr. and his wife, Christine of Chicago, Illinois, a daughter, Dianne N. Sass and her husband, David of Warwick, nieces, Beverly Morisseau of Greenville, Celeste McCarthy of Danville, New Hampshire and a grandnephew, Aron D. McCarthy of Hampstead, NH.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 10:30am in Trinity Episcopal Church, 251 Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Visitation Thursday 4-7:30pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI.
