Robert J. Armstrong, 79 of Medway died July 14 in Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Janet M. (Stanley) Armstrong.
Born in Medway, May 6, 1929, the son of the late William and Eva (Prime) Armstrong, Mr. Armstrong was a lifelong Medway resident.
Mr. Armstrong had been a carpenter all his life and was well known for his finish carpentry skills.
In his spare time, he enjoyed making furniture and watching sports.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Cathy Cote of Pascoag, RI.
He is also survived by his sister, Rita Fahey of Franklin and was the brother of the late William Armstrong.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nicholas and Heather and his great-granddaughter, Amber.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18 in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
