Margery King, 74

Margery (Milliken) King, 74, a lifelong resident of Mansfield died on Saturday July 12, 2008 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald E. King to whom she was wed for 29 years at the time of his death on August 7, 1985.
Born in Walpole, MA on August 19, 1933 she was a loving daughter of Ada L. (Zeller) Milliken of Mansfield and the late Franklin L. Milliken.
She was educated in Mansfield Public Schools and was a 1951 graduate of Mansfield High School. Mrs. King was a retired Customer Service Representative having worked for 40 years at the New England Security Insurance Agency in Mansfield prior to retiring in 1999. She was the former owner and with the help of her family operated The Store, a convenience store located on South Main St. in Mansfield.
A member of the Orthodox Congregational Church in Mansfield she was also a former member of the Mansfield Women’s Bowling League and was involved in various organizations pertaining to Youth Programs in Mansfield.
Marge enjoyed playing cards and cribbage with friends at the Mansfield Council on Aging and treasured the times spent with her children, her grandchildren and mother.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her devoted children Laurie A. Chace and her husband Dale of North Attleboro, Ronald D. King of Mansfield, Paul E. King of North Attleboro and Kathy A. Risotti and her husband George of Mansfield, her cherished grandchildren Ryan King, Courtney Chace, Nicole Chace, Tyler Risotti and Austin Risotti, her sister Beatrice Knowles of Mansfield and sister in law Ruth E. King of Mansfield, also survived by 2 nephews.
Funeral services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Tuesday July 15th at 11:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield. Burial will follow in the Spring Brook Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday July 14th from 5-8 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
