Rosalie M. "Rusty" (Harpest) Ouellette, of Taunton died July 11th 2008 at Morton Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of Paul R. Ouellette.
Born in Lake Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Bonnie (Arthur) Harpest, she lived in the greater New Bedford area most of her life before moving to Taunton 5 years ago.
Mrs. Ouellette was the proprietor of Town and Beauty Salon in Dartmouth in the 1960's and 70's and later was a court officer with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts until retiring in 1993.
She enjoyed the company of her dog Lexie.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Carl A. Correia of Marion; a daughter, Bonnie L. Bowers of Thorndike, ME; 2 step-daughters, Deborah Garnett of Bridgewater and Cheryl Ann Poirier of Taunton; 3 grandchildren, Ryan W. Bowers, Mikki L. Correia and Liann M. Correia; several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Roxanne D. Chartier.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 2 PM in the First Congregational Church of Marion, 28 Main Street, Marion. A private burial service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
