Mildred K. Fitts, 82, of Derry, NH, died Thursday, July 10, 2008 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. Mrs. Fitts was born in Exeter, NH on September 2, 1925, a daughter of the late Arthur and Vina (Paro) Field.
She is survived by three daughters, Judith Eaton and her husband Gary of Williston, VT, Karen Fitts and her husband Christopher Keenan of Greenland, NH, and Sherri Mandelbaum and her husband Gerald of Manchester, NH; one son, Richard Fitts and his wife Kathy of Los Gatos, CA; as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis R. Fitts in 1975 and by her brothers and sisters.
There are no calling hours, a reception was held at Nutfield Heights Senior Center, 3 Hood Rd., Derry on Tuesday, July 15th at 1:00pm. Following cremation, private burial was in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Londonderry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Londonderry Senior Center, 535 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH 03053. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
