Leonard Vaden, 103, Clarksville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman and Rev. B.J. Brack officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 am until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born August 4, 1904 in Montgomery County, son of Charles William Vaden and Ella Cloise Vaden. He was a retired electrician with Civil Service and was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include nieces: Wanda Morrison, Clarksville; Judy Davis, Louisville, KY; Sarah Tidwell, Clarksville; Martha Jean Kilenburg, N.D.; Nancy DePriest, Clarksville; Susan McGhee, Oswego, IL; and Stephanie Morrison, Chicago, IL; nephews: Pat Vaden,Larry Vaden and Mike Vaden of Clarksville; and Riley Crouch, Ohio. Pallbearers will be Tui Savaiki, Pat Vaden, Larry Vaden, Mike Vaden, Ferris Cutshall, Calvin Moore and Blakey Bradley.
