Obituary

Florence Ksiazek Gefreh, Littleton, Colo. died April 28. Her husband is Adam Gefreh.

Raised in Olyphant, daughter of the late John and Leocadia Zalewski Ksiazek, she was a graduate of Olyphant High School and Lackawanna Business School. She was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. She and her husband moved from North Dakota to the Denver area in 1975. She was a devoted wife of 59 years and a devoted mother and grandmother.

Surviving are a son, Paul and wife, Nan; a daughter, Anita Ashland and husband, Tom; two brothers, Raymond Ksiazek and wife, Ann, Delray Beach, Fla.; and Thomas Ksiazek and wife, Joan, Waverly; two sisters; Isabella Myslinksi, Bethlehem; Christine Pertusi and husband, Anthony, Littleton; a sister-in-law, Madeline Ksiazek, Olyphant; two grandsons. Mark Gefreh and David Wylde; two granddaughters, Tasha Gefreh and Emily Wylde and a great-granddaughter Charlize Wylde.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank Ksiazek; and two sisters, Mary and Regina.

A memorial Mass will be Saturday, July 12, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Olyphant, to be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Muldowney, pastor.
