Taylor, Verna E. (Normandie), of Plymouth, 87, on July 4th at Jordan Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Taylor, she is survived by her son Thomas Taylor Jr. and his wife Janet of Plymouth, 2 grandsons Ryan and Shawn and his wife Pamela and one great granddaughter Anniston Taylor. She also leaves her nephews Brian and Jeff Ollerhead and her niece Trudy Ollerhead, her great nephews, Scott, Derek and Chad Ollerhead and numerous other nieces and nephews. Born in Ayer, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ethel (Barbar) Normandie. She worked as a credit manager for Grants Department Store and had previously owned the Lobster Shack in Manomet with her late sister Shirley Ollerhead. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading and spending time with her family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th at the 2nd Church of Plymouth at 10 AM followed by burial at Manomet Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd. (Rt. 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) on Tuesday July 8th from 4 to 7 PM.
