Lawrence, MA- Alice (Roache) Farrell, 88, died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home in Lawrence. Alice was born in Lowell, MA and educated in Haverhill schools, daughter of James and Mabel (Hurley) Roache. She was a long time resident of Methuen.
Alice was a long time Methuen resident where she was employed at the Bon Secours Hospital for over 25 years. She was a former parishioner of St. Lucy’s Parish in Methuen. Alice was an avid reader and also enjoyed spending time with her family.
The widow of the late Francis J. Farrell, she is survived by her daughter, Atty. Elaine M. Farrell and her husband Atty. Joseph S. Trombly of North Andover, and a son, Atty. Frank J. and his wife Lorraine Farrell of Methuen. She also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Michael J. Farrell of Plaistow, and Rebecca A. Devendorf of Methuen, as well as several Nieces and Nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday morning, July 8, 2008 at 11 am at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St. in Methuen. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA. Friends are invited to attend calling hours Tuesday morning at the funeral home, from 10 to 11.
