Obituary

Marie A. “Doris” Frappier, 92, of St. Joseph St., Woonsocket, died Tuesday at Mt. St. Francis Home. She was the wife of the late Christopher Frappier.
Born in St. Aime, P.Q., Canada, she lived most of her life in Woonsocket.
Mrs. Frappier was employed by the Sydney Worsted Co. for many years before retiring. She was a lifelong communicant of Precious Blood Church.
Doris loved to sing and dance and cherished family gatherings. She delighted in the company of her extended family.
She is survived by three sisters, Marie Plasse, of Woonsocket, Jeannette Poisson, of Manville, and Lucienne Pierel, of Cumberland. She was the sister of the late Robert, Philip, Joseph, Alberic, Jean Baptiste, and Omer Godin, and Emelia Parenteau, Rose Pelletier, and Christiana Laquerre. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and their families.
Her funeral will be Monday at 9:00 am from the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday from 8:30-9:30 am prior to Mass. Please find guestbook and driving directions at www.menardfuneralhome.com.
