Nancy M. Elmore 89, formerly of Dulude Ave died Sunday at the Woonsocket Health Center. She was born in West Warwick, RI, a daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Bruneau) Elmore.
She was a brush cleaner for the French Worsted for eighteen years and was a molder for the former ACS Industries in Woonsocket. Miss Elmore also worked as a housekeeper for St. Francis House and was a communicant of Precious Blood Church.
Miss Elmore is survived by a nephew Paul Desfosses and his wife Leona who cared for her in her later years. She is also survived by a nephew Ernest Desfosses of Bismarck of AK, a niece Alice Hamlin of Temecula CA, and several other nieces and nephews.
She was a sister of the late Wilfred and Napoleon Caya, Alice Roy, Aurore Leroux, Lucie Tremblay, Georgianna Desfosses, and Eugenie Elmore.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home and are private.
