OWENS, VIOLA JARRELL
Viola J. Owens, 86, of Summerville, widow of Ralph D. Owens, passed into Eternal Life on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the Hospice Center of Charleston, Mt. Pleasant.
Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service for Mrs. Owens on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 11 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Owens was born April 5, 1922 in Varnville, SC daughter of the late Pink Jarrell and Norma Jarrell. Mrs. Owens and her late husband Ralph retired from a family owned business in Walterboro.
Survivors include two daughters; Dustyn Nicole Owens of Johns Island and Ann Owens Hennies and her husband Wallace of Summerville and two sons; Ralph G. Owens and Jack D. Owens both of Walterboro, one sister; Ernestine Harrison of Savannah, GA and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
