Cathleen (Buchanan) Anzaldi, 59, of Mattapoisett passed away June 28, 2008 at home with family, after battling a brief illness. Cathleen was a wonderful and devoted mother to 3 daughters, Danielle, Paige and Blair and a loving wife to William M. Anzaldi, Jr. Born in Red Bank, NJ to Robert and Elizabeth (Scammell) Buchanan of Tuckerton, NJ, she spent her youth in Forked River, NJ. Shortly after high school Cathleen relocated to Boston to attend school. In 1990 she relocated to Mattapoisett with her family. In addition to caring for her family she assisted her husband in a family business, AIM Network. She had a love for traveling, playing tennis, cooking, dancing, sailing, photography and painting.
Cathleen is survived by her husband; her children; her parents; her sister Susan Griggs and her husband Gene Griggs of Waretown, NJ; her nieces Kim Robinson and her husband Mark Robinson of Hainesport,NJ, and Colleen Griggs and her fiancé Chris Marshall of Ithaca, NY, and nephew Scott Churchwell of Bayville, NJ.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st at 1pm in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett. Her family will be receiving guests on Tuesday from 11:30 -1pm prior to the service. Burial will be private.
