BOYLSTON_____Anthony W. Yocus, 96, of 20 Heritage Lane, died Monday March 10 in Autumn Village Nursing Home, 25 Oriol Dr., Worcester.His wife of 53 years, Julia E. (Lutkevich) Yocus died in 1985.
He is survived by nephews and nieces and grand nephews and grand nieces. Two brothers and two sisters, William Yocus, Peter Yocus, Alice Yocus and Estelle Grabonsky died before him. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of Longin M. and Frances (Puishis) Yocus and later lived in New York and Illinois before returning to Worcester. He has resided in Boylston for 10 years.
Mr. Yocus was vice president for eleven years of Central Envelope & Lithograph Co., of Forest Park, Illinois and retired in 1971. He began his career with the Sherman Envelope Co., of Worcester where he was a planning and production supervisor.
He was graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester. He also studied several courses at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York.Mr. Yocus was a member of St. Casimirs Church, Worcester.
The funeral will be held on Thursday March 13, from Dirsa - Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St., Worcester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimirs Church, 41 Providence St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday March 13 in the funeral home.
