QUINCY- Albertine D. (Ducharme) Trudel, 84, of Quincy, formerly of Stoughton, Passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday March 7,2003.She was the wife Of the late Raymond M. Trudel.

Born in Worcester,MA., she was the daughter of the late Dr. Alphonse N. Ducharme and Beatrice A. (Nault) Ducharme.

Mrs. Trudel Graduated from St. Anne’s Academy located in Marlboro,MA In 1936. She graduated with a B.A. Degree in Chemistry from Emmanuel College in Boston.

She was a communicant of St. Anne’s church in Turners Falls,MA. She was a former Medical Technologist at Worcester City Hospital She was also a former Assistant Director of the Medical Laboratory At Cambridge City Hospital. She was a former Assistant Lab Director at New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston. She was also employed by the U.S. Air Force as a Lab Technician while Her husband was stationed in St. Joseph,Mo. During World War II.

Mrs. Trudel had served as Secretary of the State Association and on its Legislative Committee, and was a member of the National Advisory Council Of the American Society of Medical Technologists. She was also a past Member of the Pioneer Valley Medical Technologists Association and The Montague Grange.She was also the department head of the Medical Lab At the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton,MA when she retired in 1984.

Mrs. Trudel loved knitting,Reading, Puzzles of all types and Traveling.

Her funeral will be at 9 A.M. Thursday from the Sheehan Funeral Home 115 Monk St., Stoughton, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:15 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church , 122 Canton Street , Stoughton. Burial will Follow in St. Anne Cemetery , Montague,MA.

Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 7-9 P.M. only. Donations to a charity of ones choice would be appreciated.
