Obituary


Chester W. Farwell Jr., 72, of Windham, NH, died peacefully Saturday at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA, surrounded by family and friends.

He was born in Farmington, Maine, grew up and was schooled in Andover, MA, where he graduated from Punchard High School. He was a resident of Windham for the past 46 years, formerly of North Andover, MA.

Mr. Farwell was a retired offset printer for Currier Citizens of Lowell, MA. He served his country in the US Army as an MP. He enjoyed camping, fly fishing, and gardening. He also was a handyman, and enjoyed fixing lawn mowers.

He was predeceased by his wife Irene (Martinkus) Farwell. He was also predeceased by a brother Fred Farwell.

He is survived by his son: Ronald & his wife Diana Farwell of Londonderry, NH

Daughters: Wendy Coyle of Londonderry, NH
Laurie & her husband Bill Kissinger of Montgomery, AL

Mother: Thelma Farwell of Windham, NH

Sister: Mildred Regan of Pelham, NH

9 Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter, Several Nieces & Nephews

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, June 25th from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 26th at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cemetery on the Plain, Windham, NH.
