Wife of the late Joseph Tulis. Loving mother of Joyce-Ellen (Tulis) Kaseta of Norwood and Robert Tulis and his wife Rosemary of Escondido, CA. Devoted grandmother of Daniel Kaseta, Diane Phillips, Judith Menges, Lauren Moriarty, Dr. Matthew Tulis, USN, and Jennifer Stine. Cherished great- grandmother of Caitlin Moriarty, Luke Phillips, Matthew and Emma Stine and Kate Tulis.
Amelia lived in Massachusetts for most of her 93 years. She grew up in Norwood, where she met and married Joseph Tulis. Amelia brought up her family in Westwood, moved to Hingham with her son and his family in 1977, and finally moved with them to California in June of 2005. Entering the convent was seriously considered in her early years, and Amelia was an active parishioner at her Lithuanian Church functions and prayer groups during her years in Norwood and Westwood. Her Catholic faith inspired Amelia to make many pilgrimages to the Vatican and Holy Land and shrines throughout Europe, including Russia, Lithuania, Fatima in Portugal, as well as Mexico and the United States. She was a meticulous worker, both in her home -- cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, and knitting, and for 39 years as an office supervisor for Factory Mutual Insurance, from which she finally retired at the age of 81. Extensive travel to Russia and Eastern Europe to visit relatives followed her retirement. Her leisure time was filled with reading, letter writing, and relaxing with her favorite TV shows, including following her favorite football teams, Boston College and especially the New England Patriots.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Friday at 9AM, Funeral Mass in Saint Paul's Church, Hingham at 10 AM.

Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
