New Bedford-William Roland Fay aged 62 years died Thursday at home in the presence of his loved ones, after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Lois Ruth (Lyne) Fay of New Bedford. He was the loved father of William R. Fay Jr. and his wife Regina of Warwick RI. He was the brother of Karen Olival of Worchester, MA.
Mr. Fay was the son of Roland and Bertha (Breault) Fay. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area most of his life. He was a Security Guard for Titliest. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an announcer on W.B.S.M. Radio for the daily “Trivia” question, as well as their weekly “Trivia” question. He has had two articles published on Trivia Questions.
Bill’s services will Monday from Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 10:15 A.M. with Religious Services beginning at 10:45 A.M.
In accordance with his wishes he was cremated.
