WEST BOYLSTON
John R. “Jack” Morin, 76, of West Boylston died Sun., June 22 in the St. Francis Home after a long illness. He leaves six children, Michael and Mary Morin, who were his caregivers of Worcester, John and Nancy Morin of Virginia, James Morin of No. Carolina, Kevin and Nancy Morin of Virginia, Mary McGovern and Matthew and Martha Morin of Rutland; 15 grandchildren, among them Joseph and Andrew and several great-grandchildren. He was born in Clinton, son of James and Dorothy (Holland) Morin and graduated from Clinton High School. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War.
Jack was a Police Officer for the Town of West Boylston and then was a Court Officer for the Worcester County Court House. He was a member of the Harold N. Keith Post #204 and the Veterans of Foreign War Post #6907 both in West Boylston.
A Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held Wed., June 25 at 11 AM in FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St. Burial will be private. A visiting hour will be held Wed, June 25, from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home.
