Steven Charles Janiec, 63, Clarksville, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at St. Thomas Hospital. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday and from noon until the hour of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born September 25, 1944 in Patterson N. J., son of the late John Steven Janiec and Kathryn Deane Vickrey Janiec. He was a pipefitter and a member of Pipefitters Local 421. He was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Lauri Morrison and a grandson, Garrett Morrison, Charlotte, TN; and his companion, Billie Roberts, Clarksville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Jayson Janiec. Pallbearers will be Locke Weems, Cal Gentry, William Dewberry, Roy Felts, Joe Brown, Jayson Janiec, Mike Loreille, Jr. and Dr. Pat Pitchford.
