Laure “Lor” (Jeha) Nasri, 64, of Westport passed away accidentally, Wednesday, June 18, 2008. She was wife of Antoun “Tony” Nasri.
Born in Zahlah, Lebanon, daughter of the late Edmond and Nejla (Kadri) Jeha, she had lived in Westport for the past 25 years. Mrs. Nasri was a Communicant of St. Anthony of the Desert Church, Fall River and a member of the Lebanon-American Women’s Club of Fall River. She loved to spend time with her sister and friends while enjoying their favorite pastimes. She also enjoyed the time she spent with her husband driving to the Horseneck Beach waterfront. Providing unconditional love, compassion and support to her family was paramount to her and in her words “ What gave meaning to her life.” She was an exceptional mother and devoted wife.
Including her husband, survivors include a son: Carlos Nasri of Los Angeles, CA; 2 daughters: Julie Nasri of Los Angeles, CA and Rima Nasri of Los Angeles, CA; a brother: George Jeha of Lebanon; a sister: Mary Rose Ammouri of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Argent McGarr.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, June 23, 2008 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of the Desert Church, Fall River at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Sunday 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
