Charles Eugene O'Bryant, 69, Clarksville, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Pastor Matthew Brown officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors on Tuesday June 24th at 10 a.m.. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service Sunday at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born December 2, 1938 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, son of the late Charles Albert O'Bryant and Dorothy Lucille Akins O'Bryant. Mr.O'Bryant retired from the US Army after serving for twenty seven years, He was a member of Masonic Lodge #761. Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Erika Zapp O'Bryant; a son, Charles Eugene O'Bryant, Jr (Lieselotte); a daughter, Rebecca Ann Jones, (Mike Jones), both of Clarksville; a brother, James Albert O'Bryant, Sierravista, AZ; three grandchildren, Natasha O'Bryant, Anthony O'Bryant, and Myke Jones; and two great-grandchildren, Garrett Harstin and Aiden O'Bryant.
