NEW BEDFORD — Dr. Harry Ainsworth, age 76, of New Bedford, died at home on June 7, 2008.
A noted pathologist, he was a graduate of Tufts University, a Captain in the U.S. Army and Director of Pathology at Fort Dix, N.J., and St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.
He is survived by his wife Sally; a sister, Fidelis McKillop; his children, Leslie Garber, Laurie Andrick, Harry Jr., and Keith; ten grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
His memorial service will take place on Saturday June, 21st at 11 A.M., in Grace Episcopal Church, County and School St., New Bedford, followed by a reception in the parish house. Remembrances to the Southcoast Humane Society or Market Ministries Soup Kitchen.
