Obituary

Misite, Rose M. (Malomo) born in Boston on Feb. 1, 1923, passed away surrounded by her children, on June 14, 2008 at Mass General Hospital after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late Ford J. Misite and lived in her home in Quincy for 58 years. Devoted mother of Madeline Bernard and her husband Bob of Naples, FL., Rocco Misite and his wife Lynne of Quincy, Joseph Misite and his wife Kathy of Mansfield, Mary Lavoine and her husband Andy of Rockland and Theresa Bowse and her husband Ronnie of Cape Cod. Rose will always be remembered with great respect and love by her ten grandchildren, Maria, Michael, Joey, Elizabeth, Jessica, Ally, Tina, Gina, Michelle and Mickey. Devoted sister of her two brothers, the late Joseph Anthony Malomo of Boston and the late Giaginto Malomo of Cassano Allo Ionio,Cosenza, Italy.

Rose grew up in South Boston, was an active member of the Gate of Heaven Church. She was devoted to her parents, the late Maria & Albert Malomo of Italy. Rose love to spend the summers with her five children and their families at her cottage on Cape Cod.She enjoyed cooking very much and was especially happy whenever she could spend time with any of her ten grandchildren. Rose was able to spend the last several winters in Naples, FL with three of her children, which was a special joy for both her and her family. Rose was a very kind , compassionate and generous person who always put her family's needs first, before her own. She donated to many charities, but St. Jude's Charity for Children with cancer was her most cherished. Rose love to spend time with her nieces and nephews, most especially Rose and Coleman Faherty of Ireland, Tommy and Joanne Malomo of Tewksbury, Sonny Malomo of Brockton, Anthony and Becky Malomo of Missouri and Bill & Bridie Malomo or Plymouth.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Wednesday at 9 AM.

Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4- 8 PM.

Burial in Saint Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury.
