Denise A. Quin, 58, of Londonderry, NH, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 in the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Mrs. Quin was born in Boston, MA on April 6, 1950, a daughter of the late Leo and Thelma (Barth) Sullivan. She was a resident of Londonderry since 1977, formerly living in Malden, MA. Mrs. Quin was a graduate of Immaculate Conception Girls Catholic High School in Malden, MA in 1968, and a graduate of Melrose-Wakefield School of Nursing in Melrose, MA in 1971. She worked as a visiting nurse with the Manchester VNA and also with the Elliot Hospital as a nurse. Mrs. Quin enjoyed gardening, crafts, painting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Gerard P. Quin of Londonderry; two daughters, Amy Angerami and her husband Mike of Manchester, NH, and Melissa Nichols and her husband Kevin of Manchester; her son, Gerard P. Quin, Jr. of Londonderry; three grandchildren; two brothers, Leo Sullivan and his wife Theresa of Montville, NJ, and Brian Sullivan and his wife Grace of Londonderry; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Ellen Symes.
Calling hours were held on Monday, June 16th from 6 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry.
