OXFORD-Robert M. Fales, 65, of Oxford, died Wednesday, June 11th in U-Mass Memorial Hospital. He is survived by two sons, William H. Fales and his wife, Sharon, of Northport, FL, Scot A. Fales and his wife, Debbie of Ocala, FL; a daughter, Lisa M., wife of Roger Jones of Weirsdale, FL; his mother, Viola (Shaffer) Fales; his sister, Faith Johnson of Oxford, four granddaughters, a grandson,; many nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces; and his former wife Patricia E. (Remillard) Copeland of Spencer. His son, Robert M. Fales and a grandson, Joseph Jones predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester; his father was the late William E. Fales. Mr. Fales was a graduate of Worcester Boy’s Trade and had been a courier for U-Mass Memorial Hospitals for several years, before retiring. He was a member of the Greenville Baptist Church and the Auburn Sportsman’s Club. Mr. Fales enjoyed time spent with family and friends, the Red Sox, country music and the Indian Ranch.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 14th from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
