Claire M. (Gwozdz) Kruger, 78, of Fairhaven died June 11, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late Louis H. Kruger.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Peter S. and Joanna E. (Smalec) Gwozdz, she lived in Fairhaven all of her life.
Mrs. Kruger was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
She enjoyed bingo and playing cards with her friends.
Survivors include her son, Louis H. Kruger, Jr., and his wife Angela, of Fairhaven; a brother, Peter S. Gwozdz, Jr. of Wareham; two grandchildren, Keith Kruger, and his wife Rebecca, of Acushnet and Marc Kruger of Fairhaven; two great-grandchildren, Camryn and Keith; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the grandmother of the late Jay C. Kruger.
Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14th at 10 AM in St. Mary's Church, Fairhaven. Burial will be private.
